Use the internet to find an infographic about infographics. Place it in to your blog post. Read it and then give me the top 5 things you learned from it that will help you make a better infographic.

  1.  The first thing that I learned from this infographic is the design, the theme color fonts need to be readable to the person who is reading it
  2. The second thing that I learned about what makes a good infographic is the data, the sources need to be reliable, timely, and content
  3. The third thing I learned is the story, it needs to have problem and a clever message for the solution to the problem
  4. The fourth thing I learned about it is the shareability; the virality, location, and social
  5. The last thing that I learned was what not to do in order to make a good infographic

Tell me about your weekend. Give me a story, something funny that happened, an experiencing you had, the way you felt, etc. Include photos!

I played my rec basketball game last night and it was a very physical time. The other team would try and push us down every chance they got and sometimes the ref would see it and other times not. In the first half of the game only 8 minutes into it we were already in the double bonus, that is how much they fouled us. When the second half came they didn't commit the same mistake even though they still were down by 20. As the last couple minutes came by one of their guys; number 00, fouled our point guard hard and he fell hard to the ground coming up with a limp and the guy got an ejection and had to leave the building. The final score ended up with us on top 48 to 33.

The perfect curriculum or perfect set of classes to prepare me for the life I want to life would have to be science classes and computer classes. For the science classes it would Astronomy because I am very curious about the outside world (outside of earth) and other classes like it. For computer classes it would be a software computer class because I enjoy using the computer for assignments during school and I would like to learn more useful ways. I would spend my class time engaging and learning new things and knowing that this was for me. It would be different because I am currently in a honors biology class which is totally different compared to Astronomy.

Tell me what you believe this cartoon is trying to say. Do you agree or disagree with this idea? Try and look at this from two different perspectives. What is your perspective? What would be an adult/teacher's perspective?

I believe that the cartoon is trying to say that China is a genius in math, India is a genius in Science and that the United States are slackers when it comes to learning. I disagree with what the cartoon is saying about the United States because I do not believe that is true at all, we may not be as smart as other countries but we do not deserve to be put in a cartoon making us look like we are the dumbest people on earth. My perspective on this issue is from the student point of view because I am a student and I don't not believe it is true,  many of my classmates are really smart and even some of them are taking courses way above there grade level. I  would say from a adult/teacher point of view they would be saying, we are trying our very best to get our/their kids the best education they can get and help them learn many things for the future.

Think about the quote above. What does this mean to you? How could this apply to your life? How could this apply to your school work? I would love to give you less work in class if it meant you were going to focus harder on the work. Do you think you would get more out of it? Would that work for you? Why or why not?

What this means to me is if you do it right the first time (you are focused) then you don't need extra work or effort. I could apply this to my life in many different ways, like school, sports, life, etc., I could apply it to everything without thinking about it. I could apply this to my school work by studying everyday a little at a time instead of waiting till the last day and taking up the day doing just that. Yes, I think I would get more out of it if we had less homework because it gives you more time to spend on learning and understanding the meaning of the assignment.

Tell me all about your weekend! I sure hope you have photos to share.

Over the weekend on Saturday I played tennis for three hours with my mom because I am working on getting better so when tryouts come around I am prepared. When I came home from playing tennis, I was having a Nerf war with my brother, his girlfriend and her brothers. On Sunday I played tennis for an hour with my brother before having to play in a rec basketball game which sadly we lost.

Tell me about some interesting things you have learned about your global issue so far. What have you learned that you didn't know before? Include a couple images from the internet if possible. (Make sure to cite images that are not your own.)

I have learned that rebels in Ukraine have taken over the Eastern part of Ukraine and it is currently at a ceasefire with the government but the peace could end at anytime and the fighting could begin again. I have learned that most of the people who live in Crimea, Ukraine are of Russian ethnicity and that might be the main reason why they wanted to join Russia.

You haven't had a chance to tell me about your Sweetheart weekend yet - tell me about it now! Include photos if you have them. Even if you just laid around on the couch and watched Netflix, tell me all about it.

During sweetheart week I played fifa on my Xbox 360 with my brother and friends. This was also the first week that I finally didn't have my soccer refereeing class that would start on Sundays from 8:00 am and end at 1 pm. One other thing that I remember from sweetheart week was playing basketball against my brother which was probably the highlight of that week.

What is email? When do you use email in your own personal life? List reasons and ways that people use email. What do you know about "email etiquette"? EXPLAIN.

Email is a system that is used to allow people to communicate to each other through the internet. I use email in my own personal life when I need to send home an assignment that is online or it helps me remind myself of what I need to get done. They use it for communicating, multitasking, sending attachments, working on projects, etc. Email etiquette is the process of communicating or working together online.
