What do you think about it? What is the teacher trying to say? In your own words explain what "the main event" is.

I think that this teacher is trying to stand up and tell his students the truth about what goes on and he wants them to improve at it. What I think the teacher is trying to say is that it is okay to make mistakes in your life because you will and you need to embrace it by trying your hardest and not giving up on it. He wants his students to be better students and focusing on what is important rather than not paying attention in class. The main event is to stay focus and get your work done.

  1. What was your stop motion animation about? Why did you choose your video to be about this? Was it because it was easy, because it would be fun, or it would be challenging? Explain your reasoning behind your project (and be honest). My stop motion animation was about making a bunch of designs using the scrabble board and the scrabble tiles. I chose scrabble to be about my video because at home I looked up multiple other stop motion animation videos and I stumbled across a scrabble one and what he/she did was really cool with the designs and that is why I chose it. I wanted to make as many designs as possible when I first picked scrabble but then as I watched more of these scrabble videos I came across one that made it look like you were playing a game and so that changed my thought later on when making the video.
  2. If you could rate your stop motion on a 1-10 scale. 1 being low effort and no very good and 10 being out of this world/mindblowing, how would you rate your project? Explain why. I would rate my stop motion animation video an 8.5 out of 10 because overall I thought I did pretty good when taking the pictures in the first place but when I was adding them into movie maker the quality didn't look as good as I hoped but in the end I was proud of how the video became.
  3. In hindsight, what would you do differently the second time around? Better lighting? Time management? Explain yourself. What I would do differently next time would be taking my pictures in better quality, lighting as well and try to get it done while it was still light out instead of  doing half at night.
  4. Explain what makes your stop motion animation unique. How do you believe you thought "outside of the box" on this project? I would say what makes my video unique is what I did at the end of the video where I spelled out the word scrabble enlarged and one at a time. I never saw a scrabble video that did something like that and to me it felt like my idea as it came to my head.
  5. What grade do you feel you deserve on this project? Explain your reasoning. I feel like my grade should be either a high B or a low A. My reasoning for this is that I had good ideas for each individual picture and that I didn't do continuous designs during the whole video; meaning I was trying to keep the viewers attention the whole time. I think I could have grabbed the viewers attention even more by doing something very unique.

3 day weekend... how was it? Give me a good story or something funny that happened this weekend. Go.

My weekend was pretty boring overall, I didn't have much going on except for a soccer game which at one point we were down 4-0 and came back to tie it 4-4. Other than that I was at home chilling out either watching Netflix or playing Xbox. It was nice having an extra day off of school; most of that Monday I was working on homework.

Tell me ALL about what your idea is for your stop-motion animation. I need detail. Who is going to help you take photos? What props do you need? Where do you plan on shooting? EXPLAIN everything.

I am going to do something with a scrabble board; I am going to make a bunch of different words appear in weird ways and then towards the end try to stack them in some way. My mom and I are going to take the photos. I am just using a scrabble board as my prop. I am planning to shoot it at home. I am going to make it look like they just appeared out of no where making different designs like shapes, towers, buildings, etc.

Tell me all about your weekend and please share photos!

On Friday, I was hanging out with my cousin and friend. We pretty much just played board games but we also watched Netflix and played a little basketball outside. On Saturday, it was my birthday and I got to spend the morning working on biology homework. In the afternoon, I did many things to make up the time lost from homework and then I received some presents to make my birthday complete. Finally on Sunday, it was of course Easter and did some more homework for biology, until lunch we had a lot of good food like cheeseburgers, chips, pickles, tomatoes, etc. In the end, the weekend was pretty awesome being with my cousin, having my birthday, and then Easter Sunday to top it all off.

What do you love most about this time of year? Explain why you love it.

What I love most this time of the year is that the weather is nice and it is not too cold or too hot. I also love it because my birthday is coming up in two days and I am so happy that it is on a Saturday, so I can enjoy it without waiting till the school day is over. The next day after my birthday is Easter and it always fun to hunt for the Easter eggs that my parents hide from us, it is always a challenge to find the biggest items as they hide it in places that you never expect. This weekend is defiantly going to be the best so far this year!

Did you complete the photo scavenger hunt? What kind of fun pictures were you able to capture? Did you do all your photos at school or did you do some at home over the weekend? Share one of your favorites.

I almost did. I took pictures like the fire alarm, a blue puzzle piece, Martin Luther King Jr., etc. I did some at school and some over the weekend.

What do you know about photography and/or photo editing? Do you take photos? How do you take photos? Do you edit photos before posting them on social media? How do you edit them? Explain any background or knowledge you have about photography and photo editing. Do you like it? Do you have any interest?

I know that you have to shoot in thirds, the camera needs to be white balanced and cropping the access off the picture. Only when my we take family photos I sometimes take pictures then. I don't use social media so no. When I took broadcast the editing for me was boring and it took awhile to make it look better. I don't have any interest in taking any other classes that have to do with photography.

Welcome back! Go ahead. Tell me all about your Spring Break. Include photos!

Over Spring Break I went to Jamaica, we were staying in an all inclusive resort by the ocean. The resort had lots of things to do that we didn't leave the whole we were there. It included a tennis court, basketball court, soccer field, mini-put course, archery, water sports, all you can eat buffets, and much much more. Most of the time that I spent at the resort was swimming in the ocean because the weather was hot and the ocean wasn't to rocky.

What are you doing for Spring Break?

What I am doing for Spring Break is going to Jamaica. I am going to enjoy all the activities their like tennis, basketball, soccer, etc. The trip is all-inclusive so I can get as much food as I want and enjoy the nice weather. I will also enjoy the beach; relaxing and swimming. We don't have an itinerary so I can do whatever I want on the trip and I think it will be really fun as this will be the first time for me out of the country except for spending 2 hours in Mexico (cruise).

Tell me about your weekend.

On Friday I went to relay-for-life and stayed up all night long and right when I got home from it I was exhausted and couldn't stay awake. On Saturday, it was around 2 when I was woken up because I had my first post-season rec game; which unfortunately we lost, but we fought till the end. Then on Sunday I had my first outdoor soccer game of the season, after moving up a division from last year; we dominated the game 7 - 0.

If you were the Principal for a week at BVHS, what would that look like? What changes would you make? Why?

If I was a principle for a week at BVHS the first change I would make a no homework policy for the whole week so the kids could do whatever they wanted to until next week when I get fired. For the week I would have as principle at BVHS I would make it so that there would be no classes and all we would do is play sports, cards, etc. Basically the whole week would be a disaster and everything would turn into chaos; nothing would be done.

List out 10 pieces of advice you would give someone on how to create an amazing presentation.

  1. Make your transitions smooth; time it as perfectly so when you finish talking it goes onto the next slide
  2. Include animations to make the presentation feel more alive, not boring
  3. Adding color - add color to your presentation; add the colors that go along with what you are talking about
  4. Information - make sure your information is accurate and cited at the end of the presentation
  5. Pictures - by adding pictures it helps improve your presentation and it makes the reader understand better of what you are talking about
  6. Background - the background should follow on what you are talking about making it the main idea but in picture form
  7. Organization - make sure your presentation is organized that best suites you and your reader when reading it
  8. Subheading - the subheading should be supporting the whole main idea but in more context

Tell me about your weekend.

My weekend was pretty boring since it was too cold to go do anything outside; besides Sunday. On, Sunday I played my last regular season rec basketball game against the best team in the league; which unfortunately ended with us losing by 20. After the game I had invited everyone to come to my house  to hang out and eat pizza, play pig-pong, watch TV, shoot on the mini basketball hoop, and play video games. Sunday pretty much made up my whole weekend and I was glad to have so much fun that day.

Use the internet to find an infographic about infographics. Place it in to your blog post. Read it and then give me the top 5 things you learned from it that will help you make a better infographic.

  1.  The first thing that I learned from this infographic is the design, the theme color fonts need to be readable to the person who is reading it
  2. The second thing that I learned about what makes a good infographic is the data, the sources need to be reliable, timely, and content
  3. The third thing I learned is the story, it needs to have problem and a clever message for the solution to the problem
  4. The fourth thing I learned about it is the shareability; the virality, location, and social
  5. The last thing that I learned was what not to do in order to make a good infographic
